S1GNALS RECORDINGS ("S1GNALS," "we," "us," or "our") is a Minnesota-based music collective. This policy explains the information that may be handled when you visit s1gnals.net, contact us, or submit an application.
2. Information you choose to provide
If you contact us or apply to S1GNALS, you may provide information such as your name or stage name, email address, artist information, links to your public music or social profiles, and the contents of your message or application. Please do not provide home addresses, school names, passwords, government identification numbers, financial information, or other sensitive information unless we specifically request it for a legitimate reason and an appropriate adult is involved.
3. Age
S1GNALS submissions are intended for people age 13 and older. We do not knowingly invite children under 13 to submit personal information through our application or contact process. If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 was submitted without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
4. How information is used
Information may be used to review submissions, respond to inquiries, evaluate potential collaborations, communicate about S1GNALS opportunities, operate the website, and protect the security and integrity of S1GNALS and its users. We do not sell personal information.
5. Third-party services
The site uses or links to third-party services, including Google Forms, Spotify, Instagram, LinkedIn, and externally hosted images or assets. Those services may process technical or personal information under their own privacy policies. The embedded Google Form is operated by Google, and information entered into it is processed through Google's service.
6. Technical information and cookies
Our hosting and third-party embeds may automatically receive limited technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, request data, and security logs. S1GNALS does not currently use its own advertising cookies or sell browsing data. Embedded third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies.
7. Retention and security
We aim to keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, legitimate recordkeeping, security, or legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website, email system, or online storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Requests
You may contact us to ask about information you submitted, request a correction, or request deletion where appropriate. For a minor, we may need to involve a parent or guardian when appropriate to protect the minor and verify a request.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as S1GNALS and the website change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
