WHAT IS S1GNALS RECORDINGS?
A Minnesota-based music collective and developing independent label focused on young artists, producers, audio engineers, and creatives.
DOES JOINING S1GNALS MEAN SIGNING A TRADITIONAL RECORD DEAL?
No. S1GNALS currently approaches artist relationships as collaborative participation in the collective, not a traditional record-label signing. Any separate written agreement would be explained and agreed to independently.
WHO CAN APPLY?
The current submission process is intended for people age 13 or older. S1GNALS is especially focused on developing teenage talent in Minnesota.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I APPLY?
S1GNALS may review your submission and contact you if there is a potential fit. Submitting does not guarantee a response, acceptance, placement, release, or business relationship.
WHAT DOES S1GNALS HELP WITH?
Depending on the project: artist development, A&R, release planning, production and engineering, creative/content, promotion and outreach, and connections within the S1GNALS Network.
DOES S1GNALS GUARANTEE STREAMS, RADIO PLAY, PRESS, OR PLAYLISTS?
No. S1GNALS can help prepare and pitch work, but third-party coverage, placement, audience growth, and performance can never be guaranteed.
